what is a zine?
A zine is commonly described as a self-made and self-published magazine. To me? A zine can be a lot of different things as long as it’s self-published and so I use my zines as visual essays.

LANDMARK MALL IS DEAD.
This is my first ever fully finished zine.
It’s about the death of a mall from where I grew up called Landmark Mall. It was actually used as a filming location for Wonder Woman 1984 and referenced for Stranger Things. That being said, it’s not really a famous mall but it is very dear to my heart in a nostalgic and deeply personal way. The demolition of Landmark Mall coincided with the death of my Nana.
webcore memories.
Webcore” is an internet aesthetic subculture that deals with the nostalgia fro web 1 and 2.0. The days of Geocities, Webkinz, and old DeviantArt. I reminisce about these things from my experiences as well as the darker side of things that went unnoticed at the time.
mean autistic girl.
This zine is deeply personal and goes into my experiences as a woman with late diagnosed autism and some of the resentment (however undeserved it is) I feel.
i fucking quit!
This is a really hard zine for me to make because it was about having been a teacher for a short time and reflecting on that experience and how education exploits people who want to educate.
BABY FEVER
This zine is not going to be for everybody, but it deals with the trials and tribulations of wanting to be a mother. Getting to that period in your life as a creative is a weird feeling, even if it is in and of itself an act of creation too.
Another really wild and hurtful thing is the knowledge you’re not financially able to do it and may never be.
